Dear Adam,
I had tried to set lgOrientation = "Horizontal".However the lines in the legend keep in the south-north direction, that is not expected by me.
Hope that the legend is of west-east direction line and only one row (not multiple rows)
Best,Ziqiang

Hi Ziqiang,
I would try setting lgOrientation = "Horizontal".

If that does not work, please respond to ncl-talk and let everyone
know.

Dear all,
When I set the resource pmLegendDisplayMode to "Always",
how to display the legend similar to the figure in the
attachment?
Have a good weekday.
Best,
Ziqiang
