simple and point wise regressions

Hi,

I was wondering how to do the following in NCL:

1. ) A simple regression between two arrays of different sizes, i.e.,
a(12,20,25) and b(12,30,35) and calculate the slope of the regression line?

2. ) A pointwise regression map across the a larger geographical region
against a smaller geographical region?

Are these possible in NCL?

Appreciate your help with this.
