Re: highres coastline for Longitude vs time (Hovmoller plot)

Since this is not a map plot, as Carl pointed out, you can't use map resources. I think gsnMajorLon/LatSpacingF are also only for map plots.

Have you tried setting the tmXBTickSpacingF resource? This works for me on a gsn_csm_hov test I tried.
