For others who prefer Homebrew over MacPorts and bash over tcsh, the
following commands worked for me:
brew install gcc47
export
DYLD_FALLBACK_LIBRARY_PATH="/usr/local/Cellar/gcc47/4.7.3/lib/gcc/x86_64-apple-darwin12.5.0/4.7.3"
