How to plot the unit for reference vector

Dear Sir/Madam:   When plotting wind vectors with "uw_res@vcRefMagnitudeF  = 60.0", the reference number "60" can be plotted. In addition to the number, I also want to plot the unit like m/s or m s-1 next to "60". Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks very much!   Ed
