ArcGRID (Landfire)

I downloaded a sample of USGS Landfire data from this website, http://lan=
dfire.cr.usgs.gov/viewer/.For a single variable, it resulted in a couple do=
zen files, in dbf, nit, adf, etc formats, which should be GIS
(ArcGRID on Albers equal area conic).


Is NCL capable of reading this data? Or is there a straightforward way to c=
onvert these files
into a format (e.g. netcdf) that NCL can handle?
