this is the list of commonly used vector resources. note vcMinDistanceF
by playing with this resource you can thin vectors by their proximity to
each other.
you can also thin by plotting a subsample of the grid:
u(::2,::2),v(::2,::2) would plot only every other point. you can change
the
2 to any value.
