problems with gsnXYBarChartBarWidth

Hi,

I have a problem running ncl with some resources.
I set this resource:
res_meteog@gsnXYBarChartBarWidth = 0.9

then call this function:
gsn_csm_xy(wks,buffer_step,vect,res_meteog)

and I get this error:

warning:Attempt to reference attribute (gsnXYBarChartBarWidth) which is
undefined
Bus error

Any hint why?
