    Hi Tom and others,

[I'm sending this message to the whole group for others who have Linux
    8.0.]

We do not have a Linux 8.0 system in-house (that I know of), and thus
I am unable to provide an NCL Linux 8.0 binary. However, it is
usually our experience that executables built on an older system will
run on a newer system, so the Linux 6.2 binary may work. I assume this
is the binary you are trying. If anybody else has had success with running
Linux 6.2 binaries on an 8.0 system, I would appreciate hearing about it.

Meanwhile, Tom, could you send me a personal email and tell me what
the exact error message is? It may just be an environment problem.

    Thanks,
