    This issue came up last week:

    Two possible solutions for you:

    There is a command in fink to overwrite:

        sudo dpkg -i --force-overwrite fname

    where fname is the .deb file for ncl.

    You may have an older ncarg package, you need 4.3.1-2 to avoid this
    problem. Try "fink update ncarg".

    Please let us know if either solves your problem.
