Axel,

There is no way in NCL to transform the actual data to a particular native
grid projection. You can of course PLOT the data in a given projection, or
transform the data in a graphical sense to a new projection, but this is
just a plot and does not effect the actual data.

I would suggest you contact the WRF folks to see if they have any routines
for doing this.
