NCL Community,

The NCL Development Team is pleased to announce the availability of NCL
for 64-bit Itanium (IA64) hosts.

You may download the binary distribution by visiting the NCL Download
web page at:

http://ngwww.ucar.edu/ncl/download.html

and following the instructions therein. Please note that it is not
necessary to specify a system on which you'd like to install NCL when
submitting your request.

You'll find instructions for installing the NCL binaries at:

http://ngwww.ucar.edu/ncl/installncl.html

This binary distribution is currently marked as "for test purposes only,"
as this hardware platform is relatively new to us, in terms of availability.

Your feedback on performance and any other issues is most welcome. On
