    Hi,

    We don't officially have a DODS version of NCL built yet, but if
    you tell us what kind of system you are on, our developer
    Rick might be able to provide for you to try.

    In the next release of NCL, which we are hoping to release towards the
    end of November, we will have DODs capability built into NCL on
    systems which the DODs software itself can be built on.

    With respect to NCL, I don't think there's much to it (Rick, correct
    me if I'm wrong). Instead of a using a local file name when you call
    "addfile", you give it a URL of a file name that is being served by a
    DODs server. For example:

      f=addfile("http://www.cdc.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/nph-nc/Datasets/ncep.reanalysis/pressure/air.2003.nc","r")
