Following your mail, I have made changes in the .bashrc file. Here is my
.bashrc file

export NCARG_ROOT=/ncl_ncarg-5.1.1.Linux_x86_64_gcc412.tar.gz_FILES/
export PATH=/ncl_ncarg-5.1.1.Linux_x86_64_gcc412.tar.gz_FILES/bin/:$PATH

After setting this NCARG_ROOT also, it is showing the same error, whn I run
ng4ex gusun01n, as

Resource directory
</ncl_ncarg-5.1.1.Linux_x86_64_gcc412.tar.gz_FILES/lib/ncarg/resfiles> does
not exist.

Also when I type the command env | NCARG_ROOT, it is showing that
the command is not found

I dont require the graphics of NCL, so I didnt install the section " *Set
the DISPLAY environment variable to indicate where to display graphics".*

I am having gfortran (f95 compiler) on my linux pc. Hope all these
information will be useful in helping me

Thanku & Regards,
Neelima
