missing value in function "eofunc_varimax"

Hi NCL users,

     I want to use the function "eofunc_varimax" to get rotated EOFS, but I
got the following message:

fatal: eofunc_varimax: The input array contains missing values.

However, the instruction in the web page say Missing values are ignored.

So I wonder where is the problem. Besides, I am using NCL Version
4.2.0.a03464-bit on Linux.
