cnLineLabelFormat and format strings

Hello,

I am trying to specify the number format for contour line labels using
res_at_cnLineLabelFormat = "0@+^sg" . I got the format string from the example
code http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/tickmarks.shtml but it is not
working the way it shows in the program.

I am trying to display contour line labels: .1, .2, .3, etc as 0.1, 0.2.
0.3, but there is no similar format string example of this in the tickmarks
code that I can see.

Any suggestions woudl be greatly appreciated,
