ut_inv_calendar error

NCL 5.1.0 is giving me this error:

fatal:Undefined identifier: (ut_inv_calendar) is undefined, can't continue

Based on http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Support/install_archives/2009/0260.html#options2 , does my version of NCL need to be updated?
