Adding symbols to weather font

Hi everyone,

I was wondering about adding a symbol to the weather font table. It
looks like these symbols are small vectorized images of some sort, and I
would like to add my own additional symbols that aren't already
included. Besides requesting these symbols be added on the development
side, is there a way to add to the font table somehow? I tried looking
around in my local install for the fonts, thinking I might be able to
modify some files or put my own images in a directory and reference them
but only found some binary files in $NCARG_ROOT/lib/ncarg/fontcaps. I'm
kind of just guessing that there might be a way to do this, but the
functionality might not exist. I thought I'd ask anyway though. Thanks.
