  res1@mpLeftCornerLatF       = -46.8000        ;bottom left corner
  res1@mpLeftCornerLonF       = 166.
  res1@mpRightCornerLatF      = -40.        ; top right corner
  res1@mpRightCornerLonF      = 176.5
  res1@mpGridLonSpacingF      = 5.              ; longitude grid line spacing
   res1@mpGridLatSpacingF      = 5.

whitch are the corect parameter to plot the map?

is there a way that the map occupied the entire box without the blank part o this kind of projection'
