gsnMaximize plot rotation

Hi-

I am using gsnMaximize to get the most out of my LatLon plot. It works
great. The trouble is that in many cases the plot is rotated on the
paper. I want to determine that this has happened. I was hoping for a
delta Lat, delta Lon ratio that might determine this. Thanks for any clues.
