matrix on ascii file in a "nice" way

Hi everybody! I have the variable T with this dimentions:

Variable: T
Type: float
Total Size: 105216 bytes
            26304 values
Number of Dimensions: 3
Dimensions and sizes: [time | 1096] x [domain | 4] x [station | 6]

and I need to put it in an ascii file in a "nice" way...so it will be easy
to read. Does anyone know how to do this??
