Error: Input must have at least three input vertices.

Hi,
I use script from http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/Scripts/hdf4sds_6.ncl without any modification except the file name to process trmm 2a12 v6 data. The output is as follows:

What is wrong? Any suggestions will be appreciate.
