Extracting data through a cyclic point

Hi everyone,

I have a global dataset which I want to extract a subsection of data from. The subset runs through the meridian so, for example, I'm after a set of data through 5W - 5E, but the data are organised so that values go from 0-360 degrees (west-east). Is it possible to create a cyclic point in the data itself so that I can extract say for data = 0 - 360 degrees E, data(350:5) to give me some values either side of the meridian? There is the @gsnAddCyclic resource, but that is only for plotting data as I understand it.

cheers

Chris
