use NCL to write large file(~5GB)

Hi,

I am using ncl_ncarg/6.1.0 with netcdf-4.1.3/pgi-9.0.4.

By running

ncl *.ncl

it write to file up to about 2.5GB and failed.
(This also happen when I use NCO (version 4.0.8): ncks -A file1 file2)

Need your help.
