Read RIP4 Trajectories by NCL

Dear All,

 I am trying to read the parcel trajectories produced by RIP4 by NCL ,
 such that I can plot them in a more manipulatable manner,
 instead of directly using RIP4 for trajectory plotting

 As attached, the trajectories produced by RIP4 seems a binary file
 with head informations.

 I am wondering whether some one did this before and would like to
 provide some hints on this?
