Errors with plotting skew-T when the ThermoInfo resource is set to false

I got the following errors when I tried to plot two or three soundings
in the same skew-T chart after I set the ThermoInfo resource to False.

fatal:Variable (cape) is undefined
fatal:Execute: Error occurred at or near line 975 in file
$NCARG_ROOT/lib/ncarg/nclscripts/csm/skewt_func.ncl

fatal:Execute: Error occurred at or near line 2090 in file
$NCARG_ROOT/lib/ncarg/nclscripts/csm/skewt_func.ncl

Any suggestions or fixes to the problem are greatly appreciated. This
issue has already been discussed on the ncl-talk mailing list but I
could not find the fixes.
