Changing the map extent

Hello All,

I am working with NARR data and I'm having issues when I try to zoom in on
Michigan. When I plot it, it shows Michigan, but the data is plotted is for
the entire US. I have tried doing mpLimitMode with corners and LatLon, but
neither have worked. Does anyone have any ideas?
