Hi soumik,

with the following resource setting examples for cnFillColors and cnFillPatterns,
you can set different colors and patterns of a contour plot.

 res@cnMonoFillPattern = False
 res@cnFillOn = True
 res@cnFillColors = (/"blue4","blue","darkgreen","green","cyan3",\
                                            "gold","orange","darkorange","red","red4",\
                                           "violet","purple","mediumorchid4","purple4"/)
 res@cnFillPatterns = (/0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,17,10,11,12,16/)
