How to modifiy the code

Hi,dear NCL friends,
     I use "gsnRightString" resource to set second title on the right side.
     And, also use ":C:" to put a carriage.
     I tried to add spaces to justify the string position.
     But , it didn't work.

     Does anyone know how to put strings according to the right edge of the last character?

     The segment parts of the code are as follows:

     res@gsnRightString = " median-range" + \
                                       ":C: Display Period" + \
                                       ":C:2005020212~2005021512"
