Making original ps is best, but if you have to convert from color cgm,
I have found that ctrans -d ps.color sometimes has problems, e.g.,
white-on-white text and labels disappear, etc. The filters pswhite
and/or psblack (available in /usr/local/bin on dave) are helpful in
these cases after ctrans -d ps.color.
