The description of spherepack function igradsF, igradsG is:
"igradsF and igradsG both compute a scalar function given gradient gzx
and gzy and return it as an array with the same dimensions as gzy, gzy"
Is the "scalar function" the magnitude of the gradient,
sqrt( gzx*gzx + gzy*gzy )?
Hence, I can use the function igradsF to calculate the magnitude of the
gradient using component vectors given by procedure gradsf, right?
