Jerry,
You need to be more more clear about what you mean when you say "it
didn't work". Adding in the spaces should work, so I'm not sure what
the problem is. I just tried it with one of my scripts and it worked
fine. Maybe you need to add more spaces?
Also, on a side note, I noticed you are using ":" as a function code.
Since ":" is a common character to use in a title, we recommend that
people change the function code to a less common character, like "~".
You can do this by downloading a file called ".hluresfile" from:
http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Document/Graphics/hlures.shtml
In this file, the function code is globally changed to a "~". Also,
you'll see other things being set in this file, like a global
font (helvetica), and the background/foreground colors. You can
remove these lines or comment them out, if you don't want them set.
