tick mark spacing problem

hi,

I am trying to use gsnMajorLatSpacing and gsnMajorLonSpacing options, but they
do not work. Suggested solution (http://ngwww.ucar.edu/ncl-talk/2005/0046.html)
for the problem did not work either. I am using gsn_csm_contour_map function by
the way. Any help will be much appreciated.
