ensemble grib files

Hello,

I was trying, unsuccessfully to read in ensemble data from a grib file
and found this in the archive:

http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Support/talk_archives/2005/0204.html

Is it still true that NCL does not support the ensemble dimension for
GRIB files???!!
