I found that all text in the shaded contour way have a black background which is like a black box and makes the whole plot a little unnatural. Is it possible to make the background transparent in NCL? How to do that?

Hi Xie Xin,
Welcome to ncl-talk. When users have questions about a script they
are having problems with, we usually ask if they can provide the
script and/or graphic so we can take a look at them. Sometimes we also
ask for the data so we can actually run the script if we think there's
a bug.
In this case, could you send me a personal email and include a graphic
that shows what symptom you are talking about? This graphic can be a
PS file, a PDF file, or an NCGM.
Thanks,
--Mary
