Hi Luciana,

There is a general land mask function in NCL:
http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Document/Functions/Shea_util/landsea_mask.shtml

It will create a land mask for you to use in conjunction with the mask
function:
http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Document/Functions/Built-in/mask.shtml

Examples on how to use the two functions are located at the bottom of
the description pages...
