Dear Xiaoming,

If you want to draw two plots in one figure, you can also use
the subroutine overlay. Please see example-1 in

http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Document/Functions/Built-in/overlay.shtml

Thanks

Debasish

Subject: How to draw two plots in one figure, likes "hold on" in
MATLAB

Hey

I need to use gsn_csm_xy to draw two plots. Each of them are based on
the data from different source file. How to plot them in one figure?

I know in matlab, I can draw one. Then hold on, and then plot another
one on the top.

How to implement this in ncl?

Thanks

Xiaoming
