Re: fatal:Attribute assignment type mismatch

Hi Soo-Jin,

My first thought on this error message would have been that "uwnd"
already existed, and that it had attributes attached to it that were
incompatible with uwnd's attributes on the file. However, since uwnd is
a brand-new variable, this can't be the case.

I think there may be something peculiar about your netCDF file. Can you
put it on our ftp account so we can have a look?

    ftp ftp.cgd,ucar,edu
    <log in as "anonymous" with your email address as the password>
    cd incoming
   put uwnd10m.mon.mean.nc
   quit
