fatal:Attribute assignment type mismatch

Hi everyone,

I am trying to read ""uwnd10m.mon.mean.nc" from NCEP/NCAR Reanalysis at CDC.

But I met following error message.

ncl 0> fin = addfile("uwnd10m.mon.mean.nc", "r")

ncl 1> uwnd = fin->uwnd

fatal:Attribute assignment type mismatch

Actually, reading is no problem.

I can print out uwnd. But this message irritates my nerves.

Why do I see this kind of error message?
