Dear Andrea,
Check the examples 4 in
http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/mptick.shtml
you can specify, the interval by using following resources
res_at_gsnMajorLatSpacing = n ; change maj lat tm spacing
res_at_gsnMajorLonSpacing = m ; change maj lon tm spacing
Also check the examples 2 in
http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/tickmarks.shtml
you can set the tickmarks manually by using tmXBTickStartF, tmXBTickStartF,
and tmXBTickSpacingF.
Thanks
Debasish

Subject: Tickmark labels on map
Hi!
In "Map tickmark" example 3
(http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/Images/mptick_3_lg.png), is there
a way to control the spacing of the tick mark labels? I would like to
have tick mark labels every one degree only, but I do not seem to find
the correct resource. The map is NOT cylindrical equidistant.
Thanks much!
Andrea
