Check you NCARG_ROOT.

Hi Eric:

Please follow Mary' s advise to check your $NCARG_ROOT:

 echo $NCARG_ROOT
 ls $NCARG_ROOT

Do you see these directories: "bin, include, and lib" there?

If yes, your issue may not related to your terminal ENV set-up.

If not, your need set up your terminal ENV correctly.

I am on Mac Pro with $NCARG_ROOT = ~/usr/local
