Interpolation from sigma to zeta levels

Hi all,

i am working with an oceanographic model in sigma coordinate. I am
trying to create a procedure in NCL wicth interpolate T,S, and velocity
data from sigma levels to an assigned z depth.
Now i obtain it using some "do" loops, after reading values from a
netdcf file, but the script runs slowly.
I am looking for a build-in function witch do it faster; in NCL site i
have found only the sigma2ybrid function, but i don't understand if i
can use it to solve my problem.

Could you help me please ?

Thanks, and best regards
