Orientation of an NCL Plot

Hello Again:

I have a script that maps sea surface temperature data using polar
stereographic projection (function gsn_csm_contour_map). The issue is
that the map is (to my mind) upside-down. But aside from this specific
case, more generally, is there a way to orient a map--that is, for
example, to rotate a plot by 90 or 180 degrees?
