Hi,

Unfortunately, tickmarks for lambert conformal plots are somewhat
limited. I assume you are setting:

   res_at_pmTickMarkDisplayMode = "Always"

to turn on the map tickmarks? If so, you can't use resources
like tmXBValues and tmXBLabels.

I think you can do this a rather kludgy way, and that is to create
your own tickmark object and overlay it on your map. However,
given the nature of the lambert conformal plot, I'm not sure
this would produce entirely correct map tickmarks.

I can ask somebody about this, but he's out of the office for over
a weel. Let me know (offline) if you'd like me to pursue this.
