Can legends be used with Histograms

 
Dear Users:

Relatively new to NCL, but would like to add a legend to a histogram plot.
My first attempt failed.
I see in documentation legend can be used with Xyplot and ContourPlot.

Are there any examples available of using legend with the histogram function
(gsn_histogram)?
