LAPACK Question

I just upgraded to NCL 5.1.0 and I wanted to use the function

/evssm_lapack /

When I run my code it says this:

/Copyright (C) 1995-2009 - All Rights Reserved
University Corporation for Atmospheric Research
NCAR Command Language Version 5.1.0
The use of this software is governed by a License Agreement.
See http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/ for more details.

fatal:Undefined identifier: (evssm_lapack) is undefined, can't continue
/
I load the following libraries:
/
load "$NCARG_ROOT/lib/ncarg/nclscripts/csm/gsn_code.ncl"
load "$NCARG_ROOT/lib/ncarg/nclscripts/csm/gsn_csm.ncl"
load "$NCARG_ROOT/lib/ncarg/nclscripts/csm/contributed.ncl"
load "$NCARG_ROOT/lib/ncarg/nclscripts/csm/shea_util.ncl"
/
Do I need another library? Do I need to install something to use LAPACK routines? I can't find anything online about this.

Thanks,
Walter
