Hey NCL gurus,
I have geopotential height data along a satellite orbit. I need to take
the first derivative with respect to latitude.
The data is quite noisy...
Should I smooth it using smth9_Wrap before taking derivative?
Should I use center_finite_diff? and if so, what about taking every
2nd, 3rd, 10th or whatever point to deal with the noise?
Or should I use csa1xs?
What do you all recommend?
