Hi,
I still try to solve my previous problem with hydro function and i look
at the source code of it (./ni/src/lib/nfpfort/hydro_dp.f) and i found
following comment,
c use the hydrostatic eqn to get geopotential height
c . it is assumed that p(1) and tkv(1) contain the
c . surface quantities corresponding to zsfc.
If i am not wrong, there is no any comment that point out this isssue in
the function documentation. May be you can consider to add it into
documentation. So, i think that i have to add extra layer (surface data)
to my data arrays to calculate correct values of geopotential height.
Anyway, thanks for all.
Best wishes,
