Thank you for your answer.

I also have using NCL 5.1.1 binaries without problems, but when I've run the
HLU examples I've got a compilation error. After some tests I've seen that
the source of the problem was the "-lgfortran" option in the compilation
line. Without it, the HLU examples were compiled successfully.
