Re: NCL png driver

All,

We've been in discussion with Daniel offline about this, and have it on our list to look into the problems with the PNG driver. We've noticed the slowness as well, and are not quite sure yet what the issue is.

For the second part, we will look into adding some margin resources, perhaps, and/or the device coordinate resources as suggested. I find the device coordinate method to not be very straighforward, and it may not apply for PNG files.

Daniel, we will keep you posted on our progress with this.
